Although the volume of SME digital trade remains small relative to that of large companies, the effective inclusion of SMEs represents a high growth area and a tremendous potential gain for sustainable development, globally and particularly in developing countries.

This session brought together lessons learned from business and independent analyses, initiatives designed to help small businesses generate impact in markets and in the policy processes that matter to them; and the opportunity to reflect on the trade and investment policy agenda at the Eleventh WTO Ministerial Conference (MC11) and beyond that will be most conducive to these objectives.
