In 2018, Nextrade worked with the Inter-American Development Bank's  ConnectAmericas platform as well as with its partners MasterCard and Sealand to enable ConnectAmericas' considerable SME use base to access transactional capabilities and logistics and trade finance services, to sell their goods and services on the platform to foreign buyers.

Nextrade developed the business case, market analytics, and operational plans for the new platform. Among the outputs were predictive analytics on the evolution and geospatial dynamics in the global SME exporter and importer markets in over 80 countries in 2018-23.
