Nextrade Group develops PPPs for tourism and agricultural digitization in Mexico SURGES
Nextrade is proudly partnering with USAID/Mexico’s SURGES project that aims to increase employment, sales, investment, and positive environmental impact in Mexico’s southern region.
Using an inclusive market systems approach, the Activity will work with various stakeholders across agricultural and touridm value chains, including smallholder farmers, women and youth led enterprises, private sector and civil society groups, select public sector institutions in the states of Chiapas and Oaxaca, Campeche, Quintana Roo, Yucatan, Tabasco, and Veracruz.
Nextrade's role is to develop and operationalize partnerships wih leading technology companies to enable producers and tourism operators to digitize their sales channels, accept digital payments, and leverage data to improve their operations; and guide state governments to develop programs that leverage technologies for their development aspiration in tourism and agriculture.
