U.S.-UK Digital Trade Agreement: What Should Be in It?

For UK exiting from the EU and U.S. that is out of the TPP, there is an opportunity to work together to explore new rules for the global digital economy. Nextrade CEO Kati Suominen is working with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) to explore exactly what those rules should be, under a Google-sponsored initiative led by the CSIS Lillan and Robert D. Stuart Jr. Center in Euro-Atlantic and Northern European Studies and the CSIS Scholl Chair in International Business, in cooperation with the UK-based Institute of Directors and Chatham House. Suominen is ad adjunct fellow at CSIS.

The project will result in 2018 in a roadmap for future U.S.-UK digital trade agreement.
