Supporting ecommerce readiness in the Caribbean with Association of Caribbean States

Nextrade is in 2026 working with partner firm OCO Global on an Inter-American Development Bank-funded project for the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) across six Caribbean and Central American countries to prepare e-commerce readiness handbooks and train 54 MSMEs across three sectors and six countries to use marketplaces. The approach begins with rigorous, data-driven firm selection and readiness assessment, using diagnostics to identify SMEs with sufficient product readiness, management commitment, export orientation, and digital and AI capability.
